McDonald’s Holds Ribbon Cutting

McDonald’s of Toccoa held a Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting on Thursday to celebrate the recent opening of its second drive-thru ordering lane.

Toccoa McDonald’s Owner Susan Nichols said having two points at which customers can order going through the drive-thru has worked very well so far.

“The dual point ordering where customers can choose whichever order point they prefer has been fantastic,” said Nichols. “We have new technology that captures which car places which order and we can sequence the cars and get them through very efficiently.”

Nichols went on to say that other renovations are planned in the coming year for the building’s interior.

Those include renovating the dining room and the exterior of the building sometime in the next year.

McDonald’s is located on Big A Road in Toccoa.

Both its drive-thru and dining room are open 24 hours a day.
