Martin Woman Arrested in S.C. In Connection with Toccoa Robbery

Bonnie Bleu AlexanderA Stephens County woman is in custody in South Carolina, facing charges in Toccoa.

The Oconee County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that it arrested 22-year-old Bonnie Bleu Alexander of Martin on a Fugitive from Justice warrant Wednesday.

Alexander was wanted in Toccoa on robbery charges in connection with a recent snatch-and-grab robbery from the Toccoa Wal-Mart.

According to Oconee County authorities, Alexander was taken into custody at an address in Chickasaw Point.

Chickasaw Point is a residential development on Lake Hartwell.

Authorities in Oconee County went on to say that Toccoa investigators contacted the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office to make contact with Alexander, faxing warrants to Oconee County.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office said Alexander was taken into custody just after 11 a.m. Wednesday and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.

Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell said that Alexander may face additional charges in Toccoa.
