Franklin and Stephens counties are getting ready for this weekend’s annual March for Babies.
The event, which benefits the March of Dimes, will take place tomorrow morning at Tugaloo State Park.
Registration for the walk begins at 9 a.m. and the march begins at 10 a.m.
Local March of Dimes Community Director Kristine Groft said this year’s goal is $40,000.
She says that everyone is invited to come on out and enjoy the activities that will be taking place tomorrow.
Funds raised benefit the March of Dimes organization, which focuses on prevention of premature births and birth defects, as well as the general health of babies.
