Toccoa Man Street is starting to gear up for another busy Spring and Summer.
The first big Main Street event in downtown Toccoa is coming up later this month.
The annual “A Taste of Toccoa” is coming up on Thursday, April 24.
Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said this year’s “Taste” will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on April 24.
“It is our 24th year,” said Crosby. “It is one of the favorite events we hold downtown.”
It is for restaurants and caterers to offer samples of their food. There are also activities and entertainment.
Crosby went on to say that there is still space for restaurants and caterers in Stephens County to sign up and participate in this year’s “Taste” event.
“It is a great way to introduce a new item or for marketing,” said Crosby.
“A Taste of Toccoa” is the first of many events in downtown Toccoa over the coming months.
Other events include National Train Day, Sage Market, the Ida Cox Music Series, and a Summer Drama Camp at the Schaefer Center.
