Main Street Awards Ceremony Held

Toccoa honors a number of businesses and individuals at its annual Main Street Awards ceremony.

The yearly event last night at the Schaefer Center in downtown Toccoa brought city officials, downtown business owners, and others together to look back at the last year in downtown.

Toccoa Main Street Director Connie Tabor said the city feels it is important to take time each year to recognize downtown businesses and volunteers.

“We could not do it without the private sector investment and the public sector, and also the volunteers,” said Tabor.
