Local Insurance Agent Holds Ribbon Cutting

A local insurance agent celebrates a growing business and a new location.

On Thursday, the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for J.S. Thomas and Associates.

While it has been around for some time now, J.S. Thomas and Associates now has an office location on Remsdale Road at its intersection with Falls Road in Toccoa.

Owner Jim Thomas said J.S. Thomas and Associates can handle a host of insurance needs.

“We actually provide financial products such as life insurance, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage, annuities, final expense,” said Thomas. “Office hours are normally 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but with Medicare open enrollment beginning October 15 through December 7, a lot of that will be by appointment. It really gets busy around that time for open enrollment there, so beginning that time, we will maybe have appointments set, but someone should be here from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.”

J.S. Thomas and Associates is located at 194 Remsdale Road, which is across from the city cemetery and just off of Falls Road.
