Local Governments Announce Holiday Schedule

Local governments are announcing their schedules for the New Year’s Day holiday.

Stephens County government offices and Toccoa City Hall are both closed on Monday, January 2 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

In the city of Toccoa, routes for garbage and recyclables scheduled to be picked up on Monday, January 2 will be picked up on Tuesday, January 3.

The city says it will pick up commercial garbage as usual.

However, yard waste and other items will not be picked up.
