Local Clean-up Team Headed to NJ

A team from the local Tugalo Baptist Association is headed to the northeast to help in the clean-up efforts in the aftermath of Sandy.

Officials with the Tugalo Baptist Assocation say that a clean-up and recovery team has been assigned to head to southern New Jersey to assist in storm clean-up.

The Georgia Baptist Convention says that team, along with a feeding team, chaplains, and communicators from elsewhere in the Georgia Baptist Convention are heading out today for south Jersey.

The Georgia Baptist Convention website does have a link for accepting cash donations to help in storm relief efforts.

That website is gabaptist.org. Once there, select “Ministries,” then go to “Disaster Relief,” select “Georgia Hurricane Sandy Response,” and follow the on-site links and instructions for donations.
