Lavonia Police Search For Stolen Car

The Lavonia Police Department is still looking for a vehicle stolen over the weekend.

A green Chrysler PT Cruiser was allegedly stolen from a Lavonia residence Saturday night.

24-year-old Kayla Cobb of Lavonia was arrested after surveillance video was seen of Cobb driving the vehicle.
However, she was not driving the vehicle at the time of her arrest.

According to investigator Daniel Carson of the Lavonia Police Department, police are still looking for the vehicle which is a green Chrysler PT Cruiser with license plate number ANA 8031.

It was last seen in the Canon area.

If anyone sees the vehicle they are asked to contact Investigator Carson or the Lavonia Police Department at 706-356-4848.

In the meantime, Cobb is in custody in the Franklin County Jail.

According to the Franklin County Sheriffs Office, Cobb allegedly broke into a mobile home in the Canon area and was taken into custody on burglary charges.

She is being held on $30,000 bond.
