Lady Indian Volleyball Moves Winning Streak to 6

Make it six in a row for the Stephens County High School girls’ volleyball team.

The Lady Indians picked up two more wins in matches played on Tuesday at the Currahee Arena in Toccoa.

First, Stephens County swept Dawson County in straight sets, winning 25-17 and 25-21.

Then, the Lady Indians swept Athens Christian in straight sets, winning 25-12 and 25-15.

The six-match winning streak has gotten the Lady Indian volleyball team back to .500 on the season.

They sit at 6-6 for the year.

Another non-region tri-match awaits the Lady Indian volleyball team tonight.

Stephens County is slated to play at Hart County against both East Jackson at 6 p.m. and Hart County at 7 p.m.
