Lady Indian Softball Beats Rabun Co.

Stephens County picks up another non-region win on the softball field.

The Lady Indians defeated the Rabun County Wildcats at the Reservation on Monday, 6-2.

Karly Smith led the Lady Indians at the plate, going 4 for 4 with a triple, three singles, two RBI’s, and two runs scored.

Brynn Roberts added a single and a double for Stephens County.

On the mound, Mackenzie Rogers got the win for the Lady Indians, pitching four innings and allowing two runs while striking out three.

Emma Whitfield came on to pitch the final three innings for the Lady Indians, allowing no hits and striking out four.

The Lady Indians are now 13-5 on the season overall.

Next up for Stephens County is a region game at Johnson of Gainesville today at 5:30 p.m.
