The Stephens County Indian baseball team swept its two-game series against Chestatee with an 11-1 five-inning victory over the War Eagles Tuesday at the Reservation.
Stephens County scored four runs in the second, four more in the fourth, and its final three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game.
Matthew Henson and Ben Cleveland had home runs in the win for Stephens County.
Henson had three RBIs in all, while Cleveland added two RBIs.
Josh Slate and Evan Rumsey also each had two RBIs and Kain Hewitt drove in a run as well.
Slate also picked up the win on the mound, pitching four innings and allowing just one run and three hits, while striking out five.
Tristen Powell pitched a perfect fifth inning to wrap up the game for the Indians.
Mikey Petraroi took the loss for Chestatee.
Stephens County is now 14-3 overall and 7-1 in Region 8-AAAA.
Chestatee is 4-16 overall and 2-8 in the region.
Stephens County is on the road tonight to begin a big region series with Lanier.
First pitch from Lanier High School is set for 5:55 p.m.
