Indians Beat East Hall

The Stephens County Indian baseball defeated the East Hall Vikings Wednesday at the Reservation in Toccoa, 4-1, in non-region play.

Chaz Bridges went five innings, gave up only one hit and struck out eight to get the win on the mound. Gabe White finished in relief with two strong innings, giving up two singles and striking out three.

On offense, the Indians got just five hits, but one of them was a two-run single by Dawson Sorrells.

Trey Campbell knocked in the only run for the Vikings in the final inning.

Stephens County is now 9-5 on the season and East Hall is now 5-6.

The Indians wrap up the non-region part of their schedule against Prince Avenue Christian on Friday.

It is a make-up game from one that was postponed on Monday.
