Indian, Lady Indian Soccer Into State Playoffs

Stephens County High School’s boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will both head on the road for first-round state playoff games this week.

Both the Lady Indians and Indians finished fourth place in Region 8-AAAA for girls’ and boys’ soccer respectively.

As the fourth seed from the region on the girls’ side, Stephens County will travel to face Region 5-AAAA champion Columbus in a first-round girls’ soccer playoff game tonight.

Moving to the boys’ bracket, the Indians will travel to play Region 5-AAAA champion Carrollton in the first round of the state playoffs Wednesday.
