The Ida Cox Music Series wraps up Saturday in downtown Toccoa with its final concert of the summer.
Main Street Toccoa Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said Still Cruzin’ is the featured band for Saturday’s final Ida Cox concert.
“They are a beach band,” said Crosby. “Everybody is real excited. A lot of people in the area know them very well.”
The concert will run from 7 to 10 p.m. on Doyle Street in downtown Toccoa.
It is free for the public to attend.
If the weather is good Saturday night, the concert will be outdoors.
However, Crosby said if it rains on Saturday, the concert will still happen in downtown Toccoa.
“We will just move inside to the X-Factor Grill (on Doyle St.) if it does rain,” said Crosby.
This concert wraps up the 3rd year for Toccoa’s Ida Cox Music Series.
Crosby said that Main Street has been pleased with this year’s concerts.
“We have seen it grow over the last years,” said Crosby. “We have had great bands. It is doing what we would like to see done because it is bringing people downtown.”
