Humane Shelter Has New Website

The Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter has a new website up and running.

Shelter Director Jeff Roberts said the new site has gone online at

Roberts said the shelter has put a lot of time into redesigning the website.

“We have spent months in designing a website that is very informative, easy to use, (and) with a lot of good information,” said Roberts. “It has pictures and information on all of our adoptable animals, events that are going on at the shelter and in the community, volunteer information, information on making donations, information on lost and found programs, and also on animal control.”

The new website also includes information such as the operational hours at the shelter.

Roberts also said the new site does allow people to donate money to the shelter online while they are at the site.

“It is a Paypal link,” said Roberts, who added people can also designate how they want the funds spent and if it is in honor, recognition, or memory of someone.
