Nobody is hurt after a structure fire late last week in southern Stephens County.
The fire occurred Friday at about 12:30 p.m. on Whispering Woods Road in the Martin area.
According to Martin Volunteer Fire Department Chief Len Stovall, his department responded to a doublewide home that had caught fire. Crews from Big Smith and Eastanollee Fire Departments also responded to assist.
Stovall says crews were on scene for about four hours before getting the fire extinguished.
He says that they were able to save about 1/3 of the house, noting that he does not believe anyone was home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, but is not believed to be suspicious.
