INSP Films movie “Heritage Falls” that was filmed in Toccoa-Stephens County has set its sights on Toccoa for the theatrical release debut.

The announcement has been made by Gary Wheeler, Vice President of INSP Films and producer of the film, that the movie will debut Thursday, September 8th at the Schaefer Center in Downtown Toccoa.

Heritage Falls” is a dramatic comedy that follows three generations of headstrong males as they venture into the American wilderness for a rugged weekend excursion. The movie stars David Keith (of AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN fame), Coby Ryan McLaughlin, and Keean Johnson.

Wheeler told WNEG News that quote “Heritage Falls is the first of our films to primarily feature male actors in the lead roles. We wanted to create an inspiring story that encourages fathers to build relationships with their sons and for families to work toward long lasting connections. Our movie will remind audiences that above all, there is nothing more important than family.”

Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen says that September 8th won’t be the only showing of “Heritage Falls” at the Schaefer Center. “There will also be showings of the film at the Schaefer Center on Friday, September 9th, and a matinee showing on Sunday, September 11th.” Say Paysen.
