Need to know how your child is doing in school?

Well, Hart County parents now have an app for that.

The new app will allow them to keep better track of their student’s progress in the classroom as well as any activities or issues at their school.

At its meeting Monday night, the Hart County Board of Education heard from the school system’s Community Relations Director, Jessica Seawright, about the new app being developed by the school system’s Information Technology department.

Seawright said a new recent study showed parents need a new way to stay current on what’s going on at their child’s school.

She went on to say that the app has a number of useful features for parents and teachers in Hart County.

That includes calendar information and contact information for staff.

Also, Seawright said the app will also feature a way for Hart County parents to keep track of their student’s progress in the classroom.

The app for Hart County Schools is available both from iPhone’s App Store and from Android’s Google Play.
