Hanson Assets of Georgia Moving in to Former Nampac Building

A Stephens County business is moving its operation.
Hanson Assets of Georgia has purchased the former Nampac building on Industrial Boulevard. Stephens County Development Authority Executive Director Tim Martin says they are preparing the facility now. “They will be restoring power and utilities. They have hired a mowing company to clean up the outside and are moving forward. That is a 130,000 sq. ft. building and they have great plans for that building. We are very excited to see them come in to the community.”
According to Martin, Hanson plans to use the building for their Scrapmaster Recycling operation that has been located on Highway 123, and possibly some additional use for other parts of their operation through Hanson Assets of Georgia.
