Stephens County High School’s Class of 2013 will take to the field at the Reservation tonight for commencement.
Commencement exercises at Stephens County High School will start tonight at 7 p.m. at the Stephens County High School football stadium.
According to Stephens County High School, gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
The school said there will be no reserving of seats.
All traffic this evening will enter the high school parking lot from White Pine Road and exit down the new Indian Trail to Memorial Drive or the Middle School. There will be no incoming traffic from Memorial Drive or the Middle School.
The high school said parents whose students will be seated towards the visitor side may park at the baseball field and exit onto White Pine Road.
Handicap parking and handicap seating will be available at the Concession Stand end of the stadium.
High school officials also said there will be shuttle service available from the Middle School and Ebenezer Baptist Church beginning at 5:15 p.m.
To allow for more seating, Stephens County High School said that the graduation ceremony set up will be changed to allow viewing from both sides of the stadium.
According to the high school, students will notify parents which side of the field they will be sitting on, so that parents may sit in the stands closest to their senior. The high school added that an area for pictures will be sectioned off and school officials ask the parents take their student’s picture and then return to their seat, so all parents may access the area.
