Governor Appoints Toccoa Resident to Board
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal appoints a Toccoa resident to a statewide board.
On Friday, Governor Deal announced the appointment of Dana Skelton-Sanders to the Georgia State Rehabilitation Council.
According to the announcement on the state website, she is a certified rehabilitation counselor for the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency/ VR Program.
In addition, she is an elected board member of the Georgia Rehabilitation Association, a member of National Rehabilitation Association, and is completing her term as President of the Georgia Rehabilitation Counselors and Educators Association.
Sanders graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and Education and earned a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky.
This appointment was one of 46 board appointments announced the Governor’s Office on Friday.
