Government Holiday Schedules Announced

Local governments are announcing their schedules for the Christmas holiday.

Stephens County Government offices will be closed Wednesday and Thursday in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Meanwhile, Toccoa City Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Christmas holiday.

City Hall in Toccoa will be open on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, for the entire day.

In the city of Toccoa, routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Monday and routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Friday will be picked up next Tuesday, December 30.

Commercial garbage scheduled to be picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday.

Yard waste and other items will not be picked up.
