A Banks County man is now serving as District Traffic Operations Manager for northeast Georgia.
State Department of Transportation District Engineer Bayne Smith has announced that Justin Lott is now District Traffic Operations Manager for the 21-county Area that is Northeast Georgia’s District One.
Lott’s new position as a Traffic Operations Manager will include his current responsibilities as well as District wide traffic engineering studies, signal timing studies, safety enhancement reviews, citizen complaint investigations and speed zone/radar ordinance coordination effective October 1.
Lott has one of two Traffic Operations Manager positions in Northeast Georgia.
He began working with Georgia DOT in 2005.
Lott graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He earned his Professional Engineer’s License in 2011.
