The Georgia Department of Transportation is announcing more road work for the remainder of this week.
In Stephens County, the DOT has scheduled a crew to conduct shoulder repairs on State Route 184.
In Habersham County, the DOT will repair shoulders on State Route 255 Alternate and State Route 105, which may require lane closures.
Moving to Banks County, the DOT will be repairing shoulders and medians on U.S. Highway 441/State Route 15, which also may require lane closures.
Finally, crews will work north and south on Interstate 85 in Franklin County trimming vegetation along the shoulder of the interstate, while another crew works on the I-85 bridge over Indian Creek south of State Route 320. The bridge work will require a single lane closure.
According to the DOT, crews will work today through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. if weather permits.
The DOT reminds motorists to reduce their speed in these and all work zones.
