The Georgia Department of Transportation will be working on two northeast Georgia interstates this week.
First, the DOT said a crew will be sealing cracks on Interstate 85 northbound in Franklin County this week.
The work will require a lane closure.
Weather permitting, crews will start at Exit 160 and work north.
Crews are scheduled to work today through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, other crews will also continue concrete repair work this week on Interstate 985 in Hall County.
The work started last week and is taking place on I-985 north from Exit to Exit 12 overnights through Thursday.
Work hours are from 9 p.m .to 6 a.m. weather permitting.
This project will cause one of the two northbound lanes on I-985 to be closed overnights while work takes place.
The DOT asked motorists to use caution in these and all work zones.
