A Stephens County manufacturing facility will work with the Georgia Department of Labor to help fill some open positions.
The state’s Labor Department said it will help Trachte Southeast fill 10 jobs at its manufacturing facility in Eastanollee.
Trachte Southeast produces prefabricated metal shelters and is recruiting experienced builders-assemblers, welders and electricians.
The state Labor Department said a pre-screening of applicants by Labor Department staff will take place on Monday, Aug. 4, from 1-4 p.m. at the Toccoa Career Center on Foreacre Street.
Then, the Labor Department said interviews with the employer will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The jobs are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime on Fridays.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a resume, a high school or General Education Diploma, and at least one year of experience as an electrician, welder or construction worker.
The company will conduct a background check and a drug-screening test.
