The investigation into the homicide of a Toccoa man is moving into its second week.
Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell said that the Toccoa Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are still investigating the death of 28-year-old Montavious Xavier Flentall of Toccoa last Tuesday.
“Right now, we do not have any additional information that is available to be released,” said Jarrell. “We are still very adamant in asking for the public’s help in using the tip line and providing us information. People may have information and do not even realize they have it.”
The number for the tip line is 706-282-3237.
Investigators say they are looking for information on a newer model Ford SUV that is either going to be gray or metallic blue in color in connection to the case.
Flentall was found killed at his Pageland Drive residence last Tuesday morning. Pageland Drive is located just off of Colonial Drive and not far from Fernside Drive.
Authorities have not released any details at this time about how Flentall died.
Jarrell did say that investigators believe this was an isolated incident and add they have found no indication during the investigation that the general public should be alarmed.
Meanwhile, funeral services for Flentall are scheduled for 1 p.m. today from Mt.ZionBaptistChurch in Toccoa with interment to follow in the ToccoaCityCemetery.
