Fire Saturday on Currahee Mountain

Crews responded to a fire on Currahee Mountain over the weekend.

The fire occurred Saturday night on the mountain.

Four departments in all responded to the blaze.

Those were Tates Creek, Carnes Creek, and New Hope Volunteer Fire Departments from Stephens County, along with the Georgia Forestry Commission.
