El Patron Holds Ribbon Cutting

A new Mexican restaurant celebrates its opening.

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday for El Patron Mexican Restaurant.

El Patron is located in the Wal-Mart Shopping Center in Toccoa.

Roberto Pulido is the owner.

He said they are excited to be in Toccoa.

“We did most of the work here in Toccoa and turned it into a great place,” said Pulido. “We have good fajitas, enchilada, nachos, Texas nachos, authentic Mexican dishes.”

El Patron Mexican Restaurant is open seven days a week. Sundays through Thursdays it is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, it is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
