The Georgia Department of Transportation is announcing its road work schedule for this week.
According to the DOT, a crew in Stephens County will repair and restore ditches and shoulders along both State Route 145 and State Route 17 Alternate.
Meanwhile, a crew in Habersham County will add rubberized asphalt to U.S. Highway 441. DOT officials say this work will require a lane closure in the work zone.
Moving to Banks County, the DOT said a crew will repair ruts that have developed alongside the edge of pavement alongside State Routes 105 and 184.
Finally in Franklin County, DOT officials said that a crew will repair and restore the grade of shoulders along State Route 174. According to the DOT, the shoulder and one lane will be closed as crews work in an area.
Crews will work today through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. if weather permits.
The DOT reminded motorists to reduce their speed in these and all work zones.
