The Georgia Department of Transportation is planning road work for Stephens and surrounding counties this week.
DOT officials said that a crew in Stephens County will repair edge ruts that have developed along State Route 63.
Elsewhere, a crew in Habersham County will repair a damaged guardrail along State Route 365.
Finally in Franklin County, the DOT said that a crew will repair and restore grass shoulders along State Route 51.
According to the DOT, most activities will only require shoulder or median lane closures.
Officials said the crews would work from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through Friday as weather permits.
The DOT said motorists should slow down and use caution in these and all work zones.
