Day of Prayer To Be Marked Today

Stephens County will come together today to mark the National Day of Prayer.

This year’s National Day of Prayer ceremony will once again take place on the lawn of the historic Stephens County Courthouse in downtown Toccoa.

The event will begin at noon.

Stephens County High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes will coordinate this year’s Day of Prayer commemoration.

According to the club, the event will last about 45 minutes to an hour and will include music, prayers for different groups, and the presentation of the colors by the Stephens County High School JROTC.

The public is invited to attend.

For those who can’t make it … AM 630 WNEG will broadcast today’s Stephens County National Day of Prayer commemoration beginning at noon. As a result, the noon news hour will air starting at 11 a.m. today.
