The Currahee Club opens its new welcome center.

Thursday, the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the club’s welcome center.

The welcome center is the building that used to be the sales office for the Currahee Club.

The club’s community manager, Anne Shurley, said that the Currahee Club is excited to use the welcome center to show people what it has to offer.

“This is your first point of contact when you come into Currahee,” said Shurley. “This is where the real estate offices are housed, my office is here, the Development office, and the membership manager (are also here).”

The Currahee Club welcome center is located at the entrance to the club, located at the end of Oak Valley Road.

It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The phone number for the Currahee Club Welcome Center is 706-827-1000.
