Cleveland Receiving Preseason All-State Honor

August 7, 2014

A Stephens County High School football player is receiving some statewide pre-season recognition.

Indian junior offensive tackle Ben Cleveland was named to the Georgia High School Football Daily pre-season AAAA All-State team.

The 6 foot, 7 inch, 320 pound Cleveland is ranked as one of the top high school football prospects in Georgia and the nation for 2016 by various publications.

He committed last month to play college football at the University of Georgia.

Cleveland is one of a number of players from the new Region 8-AAAA to make the preseason GHSF Daily All-State team.

New Region 8-AAAA member Buford accounts for many of those as six of their players made the team.

North Oconee, another new team to Region 8-AAAA, has two players on the team.
