Chamber Sends Out Counterfeit Bill Warning

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is issuing an alert regarding counterfeit money.

In an e-mail sent out on Wednesday, the Chamber said it has received reports that counterfeit $100 bills have been circulating in the Toccoa-Stephens County area.

The Chamber said that any business that believes it has received a counterfeit note should contact the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office or the Toccoa Police Department.
