Car Flipped On Doyle St. Following Apparent Chase

A car was reportedly flipped over in the middle of Doyle Street in downtown Toccoa.

According to reports, the car flipped after it was pursued by authorities into town.

Reports indicate that it started with a Craig’s list car for sale ad that brought an armed gunman to Toccoa to buy a Mustang.

According to those reports, the suspect pulled into the BBQ Shack, ordered the victim to give up their wallet, tells the victim and a passenger to get out, and takes off towards town.

Authorities received the 911 call and a “BOLO” was put out for the vehicle, which was found and a chase ensued that ended in downtown.

The name of the suspect has not been released yet.
