Toccoa-Stephens Co. YMCA Closes Abruptly Friday For Good

October 14, 2013

The Toccoa-Stephens County YMCA is closed for good, sooner than first expected.

YMCA Executive Director Robin Dake said that the Y was forced to close Friday at 8 p.m. and would not be re-opening.

Dake said after reviewing finances further, the YMCA has determined it is not able to operate beyond the end of the day Friday.

The YMCA had announced earlier this week it would be closing at the end of the month.
