July 21, 2014

Stephens County High School Junior Offensive Tackle Ben Cleveland has verbally committed to play college football at the University of Georgia.

Cleveland made the announcement Saturday night, announcing on Twitter that it “feels great to officially be a Georgia bulldog.”

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the commitment came after a UGA prospect camp on Friday.

Cleveland is a 6-7, 320 pound offensive tackle who the AJC reports had around 20 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Clemson.

The AJC said that Cleveland is ranked as the state’s number two overall prospect for 2016 and the nation’s number three offensive tackle for 2016 by 247sports.com, making him one of the top 22 prospects in the nation.
