Back to School For Stephens Co. After Holiday

Winter break is over for students in the Stephens County school system.

Stephens County students return to the classroom today for their first day of classes since before Christmas.

School Superintendent Bryan Dorsey said that the school system is ready to go and get started back up.

“We are always excited to have the kids back and look forward to providing new opportunities to expand their knowledge base and educational experiences,” said Dorsey. “We know we have to get back in those routines.”

He encouraged people to remember that buses would be back on the roads and more vehicles would be on the roads with teachers and students driving into school.

Schools have been out since an early release day on December 16 for the winter holiday.
