The winners are out for this year’s Toccoa Scarecrow Contest. Main Street Toccoa announced the winners on Tuesday. First place is M & J’s Buffet. They won $250 for first place. Lewis Runs at State Cross Country Meet

Stephens County High School’s Deanna Lewis finished 44th in the state AAAA girls’ cross country meet last weekend. The meet took place in Carrollton. Lewis finished in a time of 23 minutes, 18.39 seconds. She qualified for the state meet by finishing 6th in the Region 8-AAAA meet a couple of weeks ago at Unicoi State Park.
