Authorities are continuing to investigate the deaths of two individuals found deceased in a Toccoa residence over the weekend.
Toccoa Police Chief Tim Jarrell said Monday that autopsies on the two deceased individuals are pending at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab.
The identities of the individuals have not been released yet. However, Jarrell did say that the two deceased individuals are adult females who lived at the residence on Arcadia Drive in which they were found this past weekend.
Jarrell also said this was an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public.
The Toccoa Police Department is working with the GBI and the Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office on the investigation.
