All-Region Baseball Team Announced

A number of Stephens County Indian baseball players earn all-region honors.

The Region 8-AAAA All-Region baseball team was announced last week.

No Indians made the first team.

However, four Stephens County players made the second team, according to a report from www.accessnorthga.com.

They are pitcher Zach Boyd, middle infielder Kooper Briley, corner infielder Dylan Simpson, and outfielder Jacob Haddock.

The report also states that two Indian baseball players made Honorable Mention All-Region.

They are Bryson Fowler and Konnor Quick.

Stephens County’s baseball team finished 10-16 on the season and 6-10 in the region, which tied Stephens County for sixth place in Region 8-AAAA.
