The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate an accident last week on Highway 17 in Stephens County.
The accident occurred just after 6 p.m. Thursday around the intersection of Highway 17 and Clary Connector/North Avenue.
According to the Toccoa post of the Georgia State Patrol, the accident involved two vehicles.
Unconfirmed reports indicated that a woman from Marietta, a passenger in one of the vehicles, died as a result of the crash.
GSP officials said that no narrative regarding the accident is available at this time.
